Maple-Glazed Salmon Using Wholegrain Mustard

A few weeks ago, we had some friends over for dinner and they brought over a beautiful piece of salmon. Well, us owning a gourmet mustard company and all, thought that we would FINALLY get around to putting mustard on the salmon. Here’s what we came up with. It had the sweetness of maple syrup, and a great, but not overwhelming, taste of mustard.

Maple-Glazed Salmon Using Wholegrain Mustard

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs salmon
  • 1/4 cup Green Mountain Mustard – any flavor
  • 2 Tablespoons Vermont Grade B Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Cayenne (optional – for little heat)
  • Tin Foil for grilling
Instructions
  1. Lay Salmon on a piece of tin foil and fold up the edges.
  2. Mix mustard, honey, and maple syrup together in a small bowl
  3. Pour marinade over salmon and let sit for a few minutes
  4. Transfer to grill and grill until done (about 10-15 minutes)
